The deal, in plain words.

By making an account or using Reelforge you agree to what's on this page. It is short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask before you rely on it.

What Reelforge is

Reelforge takes footage and opening lines you upload and renders short videos from them, in batches, for you to download. That is the whole service. It does not post anywhere, does not connect to any social account, and does not promise any number of views. What you do with the videos after you download them is up to you and is your responsibility.

Your account

• You need to be at least 18 to open one.
• One person per account. Keep your password to yourself; what happens under your login is on you.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got in.

Your content

You own it. Everything you upload and everything we render from it is yours. We take no rights to it beyond what we need to store it and turn it into your videos, and that permission ends when you delete it or close your account.

You have to have the rights to it. Only upload footage, music and words you own or are allowed to use. If someone claims your content infringes their rights, you handle that, not us — and we may remove the content while it is sorted out.

Nothing illegal, nothing that impersonates. No content that is unlawful, that sexualises minors, that harasses a real person, or that pretends to be someone you are not. We will close accounts for this without a refund.

Credits and plans

• One credit makes one video. Credits are taken when a batch is queued. If a batch fails on our side, the credits for the videos that were not made go straight back.
• Your first ten are free. New accounts get ten credits with no card.
• Plans renew monthly. Creator adds 100 credits a month, Studio adds 350, charged through Stripe on the same day each month. Unused credits stay on your balance for as long as your account is open.
• Cancel any time from Plan → Manage billing. You keep what you have paid for until the end of that month; nothing is charged after that.
• Refunds. Credits already spent are not refunded. If you were charged by mistake or something is wrong on our side, email us and we will sort it.
• Prices can change. If they do, you will be told by email at least 30 days before your plan is affected.

Fair use

Do not try to break the service, get around the credit system, scrape it, resell access, or upload things designed to harm it or anyone using it. Use it the way a person would.

What we promise, and what we don't

We will do our honest best to keep Reelforge running and your footage safe, and to fix what breaks. But this is a young product, it can go down, and it can change. It is provided as it is. We are not responsible for lost views, lost sales, or anything that follows from a video you made with it. If we ever owe you anything under these terms, the most it can be is what you paid us in the month it happened.

Ending things

You can close your account any time by emailing [contact email] from the address on the account; your data is deleted within 30 days as described in the privacy page. We can close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why.

Changes to these terms

If we change something that matters, the date at the top moves and account holders get an email before it takes effect. Carrying on using Reelforge after that means you accept the new version.
